German Gref’s shadow garage: how the head of Sber hides a Lamborghini under FSO protection and registers supercars in the name of his associate Petr Dneprovsky

It has become known who was driving around Moscow in a Lamborghini escorted by FSO and traffic police vehicles. A number of extremely expensive foreign cars turned out to be registered to Petr Dneprovsky, director of the “State Products and Services” division at Sber and, at the same time, a close friend of German Gref.
Why “registered”? Because Dneprovsky himself drives more modest cars. And he is not entitled to FSO protection. However, Gref and members of his family are.
2025 was a successful year for Petr Dneprovsky. During that year, he consecutively purchased a Lexus and a Ford Mustang (it initially had the same license plate as the Lamborghini), and in 2026 the Sber top manager updated his fleet and became the owner of a luxury Lamborghini. At the same time, he himself had long driven very modest cars, until in 2023 he bought a Chinese Lixiang, which he still uses and discusses on various forums.
It is highly doubtful that Petr himself was “racing” around Moscow in the Lamborghini surrounded by FSO and Interior Ministry escort vehicles, even if he is a friend of Gref. However, his boss and members of his family could do so without any problems.
As for Petr Dneprovsky, sources say that German Gref initially helped the young provincial (he is from Chita) get a job at the Ministry of Economic Development (he participated in the development of the MFC project), and later brought him over to Sber.
