Scandal at the restaurant where Whitkoff and Kushner dined: Aurora owner Anton Pinsky beat critic Ilya Trapeznik for his posts about his establishment
Anton Pinsky, the owner of the Avrora restaurant, where Witkoff and Kushner dined during their visit to Moscow, got into a fight with restaurant critic Ilya Trapeznik at the reopening of Vanilla (pictured after the incident).
According to eyewitnesses, Pinsky didn’t like Trapeznik’s constant criticism of him and his restaurants, and he publicly promised the restaurant critic that if he didn’t stop writing about him, "his parents would beg for mercy." A full-blown brawl followed, with punches to the faces and other such incidents.
Just recently, Trapeznik hinted that during Whitkoff and Kushner’s visit, Channel One journalists were deliberately allowed into the restaurant. He also recounted the story of how socialite Olga Karput’ was refused entry to Avrora with her toy poodle. She then claimed that the building where the restaurant is located belongs to her billionaire husband, Pavel Te, and he wouldn’t be pleased with the incident. Afterward, the restaurant staff changed their minds and allowed the "lady with the dog" in.
